The world is in desperate need of young people that are ready to debate, lead and change lives for the better. Knowing how to debate is a skill that is necessary for all types of leaders. It opens up doors for you to better express yourself. You master the art of persuasion and how to do that by thinking on your feet.
Junior Chamber International is an NGO that aims to develop young people into leaders worldwide and therefore it believes in the importance of teaching debating skills to its members. Due to this, it organises international debating competitions through its JCI Area Conferences and the JCI World Congress. Here, national teams compete to be crowned JCI Debating Champions.
This project has been funded through the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector on behalf of Parliamentary Secretary for Sports, Recreation and Voluntary Organisations within the Ministry for Education and Employment.
